Fares Fares (born April 29, 1973 in Beirut , Lebanon ) is a Lebanese - Swedish actor of Assyrian / Aramaic descent.

Life

His family fled Lebanon to Sweden in 1987 and settled in Örebro .

Fares Fares played one of the leading roles in the movie Jalla! Yeah! Who is late ... , directed by his brother Josef Fares . This cooperation was continued in Kops . He also took part in a number of theater performances. He can also be seen in the music video for I Follow Rivers . Since 2013 Fares has played the role of Assad, the assistant to Commissioner Carl Mørck, in the novel adaptations Mercy (2013), Desecration (2014), Redemption (2016) and Contempt (2018) by the Danish writer Jussi Adler-Olsen .

His father Jan Fares is also an actor.
