Faustino Armendáriz Jiménez (born July 23, 1955 in Magdalena de Kino , Sonora State , Mexico ) is a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Durango .

Life

Faustino Armendáriz Jiménez received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Hermosillo on September 11, 1982 .

On 4 January 2005 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the Bishop of Matamoros . The Archbishop of Monterrey , Francisco Robles Ortega , ordained him episcopal on February 23 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico, Archbishop Giuseppe Bertello , and the Bishop of Toluca , Francisco Javier Chavolla Ramos .

On April 20, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Querétaro .

Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Durango on September 21, 2019. The inauguration took place on November 21 of the same year.
