Ferdinand Friedrich Albrecht Gottliebe von Holwede (born July 6, 1735 in Potsdam , † March 7, 1816 in Marienwerder ) was a Prussian major general in the 9th Dragoon Regiment .

His parents were Heinrich Christian von Holwede (* March 24, 1684; † May 8, 1739) and his wife Katharina Luise, born von König (* March 13, 1694; † March 29, 1770) from the Lochtum family . His father was initially captain in infantry regiment No. 23, court marshal and chief kitchen master and heir to Bischofswerder ( Rosenberg district in West Prussia ). Major General Friedrich Christian Karl von Holwede was his brother.

Military career

Holwede came in 1752 as a Junker in the Dragoon Regiment No. 9 and became an ensign there on July 28, 1755 .
