Florian Kleine (* 1975 in Kiel ) is a German actor .

Life

education

From 1995 to 1996 Florian Kleine attended the American Musical Theater (AMT) in San José , California . He trained as an actor from 1995–1996 at the American Conservatory Theater (ACT) in San Francisco , at the Liverpool Theater School and College (LIPA) in Liverpool (1996) and from 1996 to 2000 at the Freiburg Drama School .

He had his first stage engagements in 1999/2000 at the Kammerspiele im E-Werk (KIEW) in Freiburg , at the Freiburg Theater , at the Theater im Bauturm in Cologne (2002, as Valmont in a quartet by Heiner Müller ) and at the Braunschweig State Theater (season 2003/04). From the 2004/05 season until the end of the 2005/06 season he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Göttingen Boys' Theater . His stage roles there included u. a. Craig in Ladies' Night (2004), Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening (2004), the pay waiter Leopold in the operetta Im Weißen Rößl (2005), the secretary Wurm in Kabale und Liebe (2005) and Cliff in Blick zurück im Zorn (2005 ).

In 2006/2007 he appeared again at the Freiburg Theater and in the summer of 2007 at the Heidelberg Castle Festival . In the 2007/08 season he was engaged at the Saarland State Theater in Saarbrücken , where he a. a. as Morten / Leutnant in the stage version of Buddenbrooks by John von Düffel (director: Stephan Suschke ) and as the Duke of Cornwall in King Lear (director: Hermann Schein). This was followed by engagements at the “Theater Halle 7” in Munich (2009), at the Zimmertheater Tübingen (2009) and again at the Staatstheater Braunschweig (2009–2011, as Münz-Matthias in Brecht / Weill's Die Dreigroschenoper ).

From the 2011/12 season until the end of the 2012/13 season he was part of the permanent ensemble at the Theater der Altmark . Here he stepped u. a. as Macduff in Macbeth (2011–2012, director: Dirk Löschner ), as v. Schlettow in Der Hauptmann von Köpenick (2012, director: Jan Steinbach), as Alceste in Der Menschenfeind (2011–2013, director: Andreas Janes), as Lämmermaier in the operetta Frau Luna (2011–2012, director: Sarah Kohrs) and as Florindo Aretusi in The Servant of Two Masters (2013, director: Jürg Schlachter).

In the 2013/14 season he was a guest at Theater Lübeck as Pedro in the musical Der Mann von La Mancha . He also made guest appearances at the Schauspiel Frankfurt (2014) and at the Monbijou Theater in Berlin (2016). There he stepped u. a. as Alcest in Die Mitschuldigen (2016), as Mr. Page in The Funny Wives of Windsor (2016) and as Mephisto in Faust I (2017). In the season 2017/18 he appeared in the role of Hufschmidt in the play herniated disc by Ingrid Lausund on Emma Theater of the Theater Osnabrück .

Movie and TV

After his numerous theater engagements, Kleine has also been working increasingly for film and television for several years, where he usually takes on larger and smaller supporting roles. In the fairy tale film The Swineherd , a remake of the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen , which premiered on Das Erste at Christmas 2017 , Kleine played the role of the swineherd, who swaps clothes and roles with Prince Augustin ( Emilio Sakraya ).

Private
