François Sérvanin (born September 20, 1941 ) is a former French racing driver and entrepreneur.

Racing career

François Sérvanin was active in sports car racing between 1973 and 1985 . He celebrated his greatest successes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in western France, where he competed a total of twelve times. He also drove regularly in the sports car world championship . He made his debut at Le Mans in 1974 , and had his first finish in the following year with 24th place in the final classification. 1979 he was with his partners Laurent Ferrier and François Trisconi on a Kremer - Porsche 935 / 77A third overall after 1978 had reached twelfth place. Another place in the top field he drove in 1982 with fifth place overall.

A fifth finish was also his best place in the sports car world championship, which he achieved in 1981 in the 6-hour race in Mugello .

Auverland

In 1980, Sérvanin founded a company in Saint-Germain-Laval Auverland that manufactures military off-road vehicles.
