Franck Dépine
Franck Dépine (born April 11, 1959 in Lyon ) is a former French track cyclist and two-time world champion.
Franck Dépine was one of the best tandem riders in the world in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was twice world champion in tandem races : 1979 with Yavé Cahard and 1983 with Philippe Vernet . He also won the silver medal in tandem races twice at track world championships, in 1983 with Yvon Cloarec and in 1984 with Vernet. In 1984 Dépine started at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in the sprint , but could not place. Eight times he was French champion in various track cycling disciplines.
