Franz Fink

Franz Fink (born July 15, 1824 in Lauterbach ; † September 25, 1894 ) was a Hessian councilor and politician.

Life

Franz Fink attended the technical college in Darmstadt to train as an architect, engineer and technician. From 1856 he was general secretary of the Hessian state trade association and editor of the trade paper for Hessen . He later became a councilor and member of the Central Office for Commerce for the Grand Duchy of Hesse. He published works on architecture and numerous articles on technical subjects and economic issues.

From 1866 to 1872 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse for the city of Darmstadt . From 1868 to 1870 he was also a member of the customs parliament as a member of the constituency of Hesse 6 ( Erbach , Bensheim , Lindenfels , Neustadt ) . There he joined the free conservatives and was one of the South German MPs who supported Otto von Bismarck's small German policy .
