Frauke Poolman

Frauke Poolman (born June 8, 1961 in Berlin ) is a German - Dutch actress , dubbing and radio announcer . She also speaks audio books.

She comes from a Dutch theater family and is now the fifth generation to work as an actress. Her mother was the actress Marylu Poolman . Their daughter is the actress Marylu-Saskia Poolman .

Career

After completing her training at the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig and at the Studio Magdeburg, she became a member of the ensemble at various venues, such as a. at stages in Rostock, Leipzig and Düsseldorf. She played in several DEFA productions and in the TV series Polizeiruf 110 . She also works as a voice actress and has acted as a speaker in a large number of radio plays ( The Heart of Jayne Mansfield , Radio Tatort Schöne Aussicht , The Swarm , Small World and others) and as a speaker for reading audio books.

Frauke Poolman has been teaching radio drama and microphone work at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich since 2007.

In the German version of the computer game Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun , Poolman is the voice of the EVA
