Friedrich Kroneck

Friedrich Johann Kroneck (born July 16, 1931 in Eggenfelden ; † December 30, 2015 in Bonn ) was a German diplomat who was the first ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Albania between 1987 and 1991 .

Life

After High School Kroneck graduated in law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and laid there on February 23, 1959 his promotion to Dr. jur. with a dissertation on the subject of immunity of federal states under international law before foreign courts . During his studies he joined the Catholic Bavarian student association KBSt.V. Rhaetia at.

He then joined the Foreign Service and, after completing his career test as legation secretary , was a member of the German delegation from March to April 1961 at a conference of the United Nations in Vienna on diplomatic relations and immunity. It was then used in the headquarters of the Foreign Office in Bonn and in various missions abroad . In 1987 he became the first ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Albania and held this office for four years until he was replaced by Claus Vollers in 1991.
