Friedrich "Fritz" Heinrich Ludwig Geißler (born May 2, 1889 in Heilbronn , † July 26, 1971 in Neuenbürg ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a businessman , Geissler studied law in Tübingen after attending grammar school in Heilbronn . During his studies in 1909 he became a member of the Normannia Tübingen fraternity . After his exams in 1915 and 1921, he joined the Wuerttemberg judicial service on May 9, 1921 and moved to internal administration on April 1, 1922. On July 1, 1922, he was appointed bailiff at the Blaubeuren Oberamt , deployed in Weinsberg and Öhringen , before becoming an official administrator in Besigheim from August to October 1922 . From 1921 to 1924 belonged to the German National People's Party (DNVP). On January 20, 1923 he became a bailiff at the Oberamt Öhringen. From 1923 to 1926 he was administrative administrator in Weinsberg and in 1925 in Riedlingen . From April 28, 1926 he worked as an auxiliary reporter in the ministerial department for district and corporate administration and was promoted to government councilor in 1927.

In 1929 he became district administrator in the Mergentheim district and was chairman of the Association of Wuerttemberg Oberamtmen and district administrators until 1933. In 1933 he joined the NSDAP . In 1934 he became administrative administrator and in 1935 district administrator in the Tübingen district , from 1938 simultaneously administrative administrator in Rottendorf .

On July 16, 1945 he was released and arrested by the French military government and interned in Tübingen and Balingen from April 3 to October 2, 1946 . He was then the charity of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Württemberg for the Inner Mission operates. On December 19, 1948, he became a senior councilor in the Economics Ministry of Württemberg-Hohenzollern . On November 7, 1949 he became district administrator in Calw , where he retired on January 31, 1955.
