Friedrich Kaiser (born March 22, 1877 in Langenchursdorf , † September 10, 1956 in Füssen ) was a German lawyer and politician ( NLP , DVP ).

Life

Fritz Kaiser was born the son of a pastor and councilor. After graduating from the Fürstenschule St. Augustin in Grimma , he began studying law at the universities of Tübingen and Leipzig , completing the first state examination in 1900 and the second state examination in 1904. During his studies in 1897 he became a member of the Arion Leipzig singers . He received his doctorate as Dr. jur. and practiced as a lawyer in Dresden since 1905 . As a national liberal politician, he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament from 1909 to 1918 .

After the First World War , Kaiser joined the DVP. From 1919 to 1920 he was a member of the Saxon People's Chamber and from 1922 to 1929 a member of the Saxon Landtag , where he was elected chairman of the DVP parliamentary group. From January 4, 1924 to January 31, 1929, he was Minister of State for National Education in the government of the Free State of Saxony led by Prime Minister Max Heldt . As such, he was also the representative of Saxony to the Reichsrat . In addition to his political functions, he was a member of the board of the Sächsische Bodencreditanstalt .
