Güney ( Turkish for south ) is a city in the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Denizli and at the same time a district of the Büyükşehir belediyesi Denizli (metropolitan municipality / metropolitan province ) created in 2012 . Güney is located about 75 km north of the center of Denizli . Ilçe, formed in 1948, was in 14th place in the population ranking at the end of 2018.
