Günter Spörrle

Günter Spörrle (born February 2, 1936 in Birkental near Opole , Upper Silesia ) is a German actor .

Life

Günter Spörrle received private acting lessons from Friedrich Theuring , Karl Madlener and René Deltgen from 1960 to 1962 . In 1963 he began his first permanent engagement at the Koblenz City Theater , of which he was a member until 1966. Another permanent engagement followed, which led Spörrle to the Flensburg Municipal Theaters from 1966 to 1970. Other stages in his stage career were, among others, the stage 64 in Zurich, the Staatstheater Darmstadt and the Hamburg Operettenhaus , where he played the magician Petrosilius Zwackelmann in 1978 under the direction of Eberhard Möbius in a stage version by Otfried Preussler's robber Hotzenplotz . Günter Spörrle has also made guest appearances at the Theater im Marstall in Munich, at the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel, again in Hamburg at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater , the Bonn Theater and at the Feuchtwangen Cloister . There he played the title character in the robber Hotzenplotz in 1987 .

Günter Spörrle was brought from theater to film by director Fritz Umgelter in the 1960s . In over 150 film, television and series roles, from criminals to doctors and clergymen, he primarily developed the genre of the character actor (supporting role), which is based on versatility. Among other things, Spörrle had roles in the Marienhof and in the crime scene . The best-known films with him include Borsalino & Co (1974), Wolfgang Petersen's Das Boot (1981) and the 1984 historical film Die Wannsee Conference .

Günter Spörrle is the father of the author Mark Spörrle .
