Gail E. Greenough , CM (born March 7, 1960 in Edmonton , Alberta ) is a Canadian show jumper .
Career
With her horse Mr. T , she became the first amazon to win the world championship in show jumping in 1986 in Aachen .
In 1988 she was inducted into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame . She has been a Member of the Order of Canada since 1990 .
Private
Gail Greenough is the daughter of a millionaire real estate agent. After school, she studied marketing and advertising in the USA and then took her exams in art history in Canada .
