Dangerous feelings is a drama and melodrama by the director Martin Enlen from 2003. Katharina Böhm plays the main role of the midwife Andrea Berger, who rescues an unborn child from its mother's dying womb, but ends up in custody because you a manslaughter is accused.

action

Andrea Berger is a midwife with body and soul. For years she gave birth to children in an African village, because in the Third World you learn to act quickly and decisively. Disturbed by the high crime rate in the village and the corrupt authorities, she ended up in Austria. Arrived in a mountain village in Tyrol , Andrea is called to Brigitte Aigner, a woman who is in labor. When Andrea suspects, after initially unsuccessful resuscitation measures, that the mother is already dead, she tries to save the child, just as she learned in Africa. With a quick caesarean section, she delivers the child from the womb, which she believed to be dead.

As a result, it turns out that the now deceased mother is the wife of Andrea's beloved. So, of course, rumors arise as to whether Andrea might not have "helped" with Brigitte's death. Andrea ends up in custody because of these allegations, where she worries herself whether she could not have somehow kept the mother alive, and asks herself whether she herself, perhaps unconsciously, ended the resuscitation measures on the dying mother prematurely.
