Philipp Timme

Philipp H. Timme (born December 4, 1968 in Herbolzheim ) is a German cameraman.

Life

Philipp Timme was born in Herbolzheim and spent his childhood in Stuttgart . At a young age he recognized his passion for cinema.

After an internship at Süddeutscher Rundfunk , he initially worked as a freelance camera assistant. From 1991 was among the 40 students of the first year of the Ludwigsburg Film Academy . As a student he worked in Hollywood in Roland Emmerich's team on the special effects of the film Independance Day . In 1993 he broke off his studies. He then worked as a visual effects cameraman in Los Angeles. Philipp Timme lives in Hamburg.
