Georg Hermann Richerz , also Richertz (born May 31, 1716 in Bützow , † January 6, 1767 in Lübeck ) was a German Lutheran clergyman of the 18th century.

Life

Richerz was the son of the provost at the collegiate church Bützow Conrad Rudolph Richerz (1678-1771). He attended the Katharineum in Lübeck and studied theology at the University of Rostock from 1733 . In 1739 he was first preacher, in 1745 archdeacon and in 1746 chief pastor at the Jakobikirche in Lübeck and as successor to Heinrich Scharbau in 1759 senior of the Lübeck Spiritual Ministry .

Be built in 1767 Rococo - Epitaph with its painted on copper portrait located on the west side of the fifth South Pillar Jakobikirche.

Richerz was married to Anna Widderich , daughter of the mountain driver and Lübeck councilor Johann David Widderich . The superintendent Georg Hermann Richerz and the Lübeck councilor and mayor Georg David Richerz are his sons.

The Richertzsche pedigree is as pedigree with its term 1736/37 in Rostock not only mirror of personal social interaction of the root accountant Richerz during his student days, but due to its numerous exceptional color illustrations also a cultural and historical image document of student relations at the University of Rostock in the 1730s. The original of the family book is in the art library of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin on Matthäikirchplatz. A reprint with transcribed entries ( memorabilia ) of the record book entries appeared in small numbers with detailed explanations in 1919 to celebrate the five hundredth anniversary of the University of Rostock.
