Georg Hilmar Ising
Georg Hilmar Ising (born March 7, 1637 in Suderburg ; † December 10, 1708 in Hanover ) was a German pastor and historian .
Life
Georg Hilmar Ising enrolled at the University of Jena for theology on October 27, 1657 , where he graduated with a master's degree.
From 1661 Ising worked as a pastor, initially in Burgwedel , and then from October 1669 in Minden . In 1673 he came to Hanover to the Market Church , where he served as senior of the Ministerium held the highest rank in the clergy of the city.

Georg Hilmar Ising's life's work has developed - in addition to numerous printed funeral sermons and wedding speeches - in particular the
- Chronica Hannovera received, a chronicle of the city which at times was incorrectly ascribed to August Kotzebue . The work was printed anonymously in 1695 and published by J. Carl in 1740 .
