Georg Ludwig Comperl
Georg Ludwig Comperl (born April 14, 1797 in Pattensen ; † November 7, 1859 in Hanover ) was a German architect .
Life
Georg Ludwig Comperl visited the Ernestinum Celle and then completed an apprenticeship with the master builder Conrad Friedrich Wedekind .
In 1818 Comperl was employed as a farming Kondukteur and was in the Principality of Calenberg the upper farm-building and garden department under Adolph Friedrich August von der Wense assumed.
In 1830 Comperl was appointed agricultural inspector and head of the "Calenbergische-Landbau-District".
In 1838 Comperl was active in the Hanover Domain Chamber , which was subordinate to the "Ober-Hof-Marschall-Amt" under Georg Christian Ernst Ludwig August von Wangenheim .
After being promoted to master builder in 1844, he was appointed master builder in 1856.
Works
Georg Ludwig Comperl erected buildings on the offices and state domains , including military buildings such as the
- Cavalry - barracks in Lueneburg and Verden .
- 1837–42: Construction of the hunting lodge near Springe (possibly based on plans by Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves )
- around 1843: Draft for the new church in Niedernstöcken (not executed)
- 1843: Construction of the forester's house in Wennigsen
- 1848: Construction of the forester's house in Wülferode at today's address Bockmerholzstrasse 7
- around 1848: New construction of the royal mint building in Hanover together with Chief Finance Councilor Edward August Oppermann . The - not preserved - building was built in 1819 by Gottfried Wilhelm Laves as a residence for the Royal Hanoverian Minister Franz von Meding on the Lange Laube street and was rebuilt by the two architects until 1854.
- 1853–59: extensive restoration of the collegiate church in Wunstorf, ( St. Cosmas and Damian (Wunstorf) ) (with Eduard Wellenkamp )
- 1858–60 / 61: Restoration of the Marienwerder monastery church (with Christian Adolf Vogell )
