George V. Finnegan (born September 1881 in California , † February 28, 1913 in San Francisco ) was an American boxer .
Finnegan participated in the 1904 Olympics and won two medals. First he took part in the fights of the flyweight class and won the gold medal. In the days that followed, he gained weight and was admitted to the bantam weight class, where he won the silver medal. He lost the final fight against Oliver Kirk . Finnegan is one of only four boxers who have ever won medals in various weight classes.
