Oliver Leonard Kirk (born April 20, 1884 in Beatrice , Nebraska , † 1958 in St. Louis , Missouri ) was an American boxer .
Kirk participated in the 1904 Olympics and initially won the bantamweight gold medal after beating George Finnegan . After he lost five kilograms in less than two weeks, he was also allowed to take part in the featherweight competitions, where he also won the gold medal. In this weight class, he managed to knock out his opponents in three fights in the first round. He is the only boxer who has ever won two gold medals in two different weight classes at an Olympiad.
Between 1912 and 1915 he was also active as a professional boxer for a short time, but only won two out of ten fights and ended his career.
