George Hamilton
George Hamilton (actually George Stevens Hamilton IV ) (born August 12, 1939 in Memphis , Tennessee ) is an American film and television actor and occasional producer .
Act
Hamilton began his film career in 1952. For his role in the feature film Crime & Punishment, USA , he received the 1960 Golden Globe Award for Best Young Actor . As an actor, he was often compared and mistaken for Warren Beatty . He is known for his eternal tan and dazzling personal life. He also became known through his close friendship with the former wife of the dictator of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos .
Hamilton was married to model Alana Stewart from 1972 to 1976 . Their son Ashley Hamilton was born in 1974. With Kimberly Blackford he has a younger son, George Thomas Hamilton, who was born in 1999. 2009 was the movie My One and Only by Richard Loncraine on the Berlinale 2009 world premiere. The film tells the memories of George Hamilton's youth. He himself worked as an executive producer in the making of the film.
In the meantime, Hamilton was also active as a musical actor on Broadway . In 2001, 2002 and 2007 he was Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago .
In 2009 he participated in the ninth season of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! , the UK version of I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here! , part.
