After recovering, he only came to Fulham on 23 January 2016 and was loaned to third division Gillingham FC for the rest of the season . Loans to Milton Keynes Dons and FC St. Johnstone followed . For the 2018/19 season he moved to fourth division Forest Green Rovers on a free transfer .

He played for the U-17 , U-19 (in the first qualifying rounds for the U-19 European Football Championship in 2013 and 2014 ) and the U-21 team , for which he played against England on March 5, 2014 in the qualification for the U-21 European Championship in 2015 made his debut and played well in the second leg.

He was also in the next two games in qualifying for the Euro 2016 when Bale came on again in the final quarter of an hour and was then for the first time against Cyprus on October 13th together with Bale in the starting eleven, but was replaced after 58 minutes. In the following European Championship qualifier against Belgium he was substituted on for the second half. After that, he had to wait a year for his sixth game. During this time, the Welsh qualified for a European Championship finals for the first time. After completing the qualification, he was then nominated for the injured Sam Vokes in November 2015 .
