The Georgia International Horse Park is in the US state of Georgia in Conyers near Atlanta preferred sports venue.

Construction of the GIHP began in 1994 and was opened in September of the following year. The sports facility, which had a capacity of 29,700 spectators at the time of the 1996 Olympic Games and was located 57 kilometers east of the Olympic Village of Atlanta , was the venue for various competitions at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games . The riders fought here in show jumping and dressage as well as in the military for Olympic precious metal. The modern pentathlon and the mountain biking competition, which was held for the first time as part of the Olympic Games, were also decided in the Georgia International Horse Park. During the Olympic Games, at which all competitions held here were sold out, a total of more than 600,000 spectators attended the GIHP. Even after the Atlanta Olympic Games are over, the venue's 1,400 acres are now used for a wide range of events such as equestrian competitions, concerts and festivals.
