Gerald Fleischhacker (born April 6, 1971 in Graz ) is an Austrian cabaret artist , author and presenter .

Life

Gerald Fleischhacker was born as the son of the soccer player Günther Fleischhacker, who played for the Grazer AK . After graduating from a commercial college , he began various studies such as business administration, law, English and Japanese. He started as a radio presenter at the Slovenian broadcaster Radio Maribor International (RMI, today Radio SI ), later he switched to Antenne Steiermark and 88.6 as well as ORF , where he presented, among other things, on Radio Wien and Ö3 .

In 2010 he ended his career as a radio presenter and celebrated its premiere with his first solo cabaret program Alles muss raus . His second solo cabaret program Feinkost followed in 2013 , with which he was seen on ORF as part of the Hyundai Cabaret Days .

In 2010 he took part in the second season of the ORF program Das Match , in 2013 he was a participant in a celebrity special of the millionaire show . He was also a member of the advice team for What's New? to see.

Together with Rudi Roubinek , Klaus Oppitz and Mike Bernard, he founded Die Tafelrunde in 2008 . The collective writes, among other things, the moderation for Wir sind Kaiser . As part of the 2016 Romy Awards , they were awarded a Romy for the best program idea for Bist Du stupid! excellent. Since April 2015 he has been showing cases of tax wastage on Puls 4 as part of this program. He was also often a guest at the Puls4 entertainment show Very funny ?! - The joke regulars table .

With Rudolf Fußi he developed the program Rudi Fußi - Now I'm talking! A political advisor unpacks . Since October 2018 he has been presenting the cabaret format Die Tafelrunde on ORF III . In July 2019 he was represented at the Vienna Cabaret Festival with Fleischhacker's Gustostückerl . On December 30, 2019, he presented the satirical review of the year End with Funny with Andreas Vitasek , Alex Kristan , Gery Seidl , Nadja Maleh , Aida Loos and Klaus Eckel on ORF 1 . In January 2020 he celebrated with his fourth solo program Am Sand! Premiere at CasaNova Vienna .

As part of the 2020 Romy Awards , he was nominated for a public romance in the Show / Entertainment category.
