Since 2010, the team has participated in the World Cup five times in a row , but failed each time in the group stage.
history
After a 4-0 defeat in the quarter-finals of the 2006 African Cup of Nations against Nigeria , both teams were disqualified - Nigeria due to invalid visas, Ghana due to the use of two players who were too old and therefore not eligible to play . Initially, the team played in the U-19 age group , but was adjusted due to the international change in the tournaments. In 2007 and 2011 , the Black Princesses represented the country at the Pan-African Games ( All-Africa Games ) as well as in their qualification, and since 2015 the senior national team ( Black Queens ) has been playing in their place.
Against teams from German-speaking countries, the Black Princesses have a balanced record (2-0 win against Switzerland in 2010 and 0-1 defeat against Germany in 2012). In April 2008, the selection celebrated their highest win in a 9-0 home win over Botswana . The biggest defeat dates back to August 2012, when they lost 4-0 to the United States in the opening game of the World Cup .
