Global Dedication is the sixth album by Belgian hardstyle DJ Coone . It was released on December 10, 2013 on Coone's Dirty Workz label in collaboration with Steve Aokis Dim Mak Records . Aoki had assisted Coone with the production of the album.
background
The name Global Dedication comes from the fact that the hardstyle genre is no longer popular only in the country of origin, the Netherlands , but also in other parts of the world, especially in North America and South America. With the album, Coone would like to strengthen this development and, as he says, “take Hardstyle to the next level” . Unlike other hardstyle albums, Global Dedication contains the broad spectrum of hardstyle. There are both euphoric-melodic elements as well as the so-called raw style . Those who had pre-ordered the album by December 1st received an edition signed by Coone. Coone also announced that he would donate a dollar for every pre-sold album to victims of Typhoon Haiyan . Following the album there will be a worldwide concert tour with the same name. Dates for this will be announced gradually.
As usual in hardstyle, all tracks are set at 150 bpm. Paradoxically, the only track that doesn't do this is the track "150 BPM". Coone justifies this by saying it's fun and he hopes his fans have a sense of humor.
