The Gmina Rytro is a rural community in the powiat Nowosądecki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name with 2273 inhabitants (2009).
geography
The municipality is located in the Sandezer Beskids ( Polish Beskid Sądecki ). Part of the municipality lies the Radziejowa , which with a height of 1266 m npm is the highest mountain in this mountain range and thus belongs to the so-called "Crown of Polish Mountains" - Korona Gór Polski . The most important body of water is the Poprad River .
history
The municipality was founded on December 30, 1994 after it was separated from the Piwniczna municipality and until the end of 1998 belonged to the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
Partner communities
The municipality entered into a partnership with the rural municipality of Puck on the Gdańsk Bay in the Pomeranian Voivodeship .
