The Gmina Sułkowice is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Myślenicki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 6600 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality is located 20 kilometers south of Kraków and has an area of 60.5 km², 51% of which is used for agriculture and 36% for forestry. Harbutówka is one of the waters .
The municipality is surrounded clockwise from the north by the municipalities of Myślenice , Skawinki and Lanckorona .
history
In 1969, Sułkowice received city rights. From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Kraków Voivodeship .

The five Sołectwos (school offices ) belong to the urban and rural community of Sułkowice : Biertowice , Harbutowice , Krzywaczka , Sułkowice and Rudnik .
education
The municipality of Sułowice has seven kindergartens (przedszkole), five elementary schools (szkoła podstawowa) and two middle schools (gimnazjum). Some of the facilities are located in four school centers.
