Krzywaczka is a village with a Schulzenamt of Gmina Sułkowice in the Powiat Myślenicki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland .
geography
The place lies in the Salzburg foothills ( Pogórze Wielickie ) on the right bank of the river Harbutówka or Skawinka .
The neighboring towns are Wola Radziszowska in the northwest, Głogoczów in the northeast, Bęczarka in the southeast, Rudnik in the south and Biertowice in the southwest.

history
The place was probably first mentioned in 1229 as Dubrovice , and then as Kriua Dubrowa (1311), Crivadambrowa (1325-7, as the parish), Criva Dobroua (1331), Crsiva Damprowa (1336), Krziva Dambrowa (1346 ), Crziwadamborowa (1350), Krzywadambrowa (1351), Curua Dabrowa (1371) and only in 1388 as Crziwaczka , Crzywaczka (1403), Thamborsko alias Crziwaczka (1409), and so on.
During the first partition of Poland , Krzywaczka came to the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire in 1772 (from 1804).
In 1918, after the end of the First World War and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, Krzywaczka came to Poland. This was only interrupted by the occupation of Poland by the Wehrmacht in World War II . It then belonged to the General Government .
From 1975 to 1998 Krzywaczka was part of the Kraków Voivodeship .
