The village was transferred to German law before 1358 because it had the mayor Mikołaj in the years 1358-1365 . Mikołaj and his successor were lay judges at the Supreme Court of German Law in Krakow. From 1560 to 1761 it belonged to the Jordan noble family.
During the first partition of Poland , Głogoczów became part of the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire in 1772 (from 1804).
In 1918, after the end of the First World War and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, Głogoczów became part of Poland. This was only interrupted by the occupation of Poland by the Wehrmacht in World War II . At that time it belonged to the General Government .
