Goldmund Quartet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Goldmund Quartet is a German string quartet . It was founded in 2009 by Florian Schötz, Pinchas Adt, Christoph Vandory and Raphael Paratore in Munich and still plays with the same line- up today. The four members got to know each other while they were still at school and, as high school graduates, gave their first big concert together in Munich's Prinzregententheater in 2010 . The name is based on Hermann Hesse's figure of Goldmund from the story " Narcissus and Goldmund ".
