Artemis Gounaki
Artemis Gounaki ( Greek Άρτεμις Γουνάκη ; born April 7, 1967 in Munich ) is an artist with Greek roots who works in various areas of music production. She gained greater fame through her work as a vocal coach on television for pop stars , music stars and megastars.
Live and act
Artemis Gounaki is the daughter of Greek immigrants and initially studied art history , music and theater studies as well as philosophy in Munich. This she broke off without a degree and brought together with Marco Minnemann ( inter alia. 1998-1999 drummer with H-Blockx , since 2007 drummer with Necrophagist ) from 1994 on several albums under the name Illegal Aliens on the market. Later she coached rock bands like H-Blockx as a vocal expert and accompanied the band Guano Apes on their world tour as a vocal coach.
Since then, Gounaki has worked as a singer , lyricist and composer as well as a vocal trainer, arranger and producer as well as an author in the field of singing. Since 2001, she has also worked as a vocal coach on several casting shows for various television stations .
She was first seen on television in 2001 as a vocal trainer in the second season of the talent show Popstars on the TV channel ProSieben . Since early 2003 Gounaki was also vocal coach of the Greek edition of Popstars radio station Mega TV . In 2003/2004 she was a member of the jury in the Greek show Eurostars on the television network NET , in which the Greek participant Sakis Rouvas for the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest was found. In early 2005 she took part in the ProSieben show Die Burg .
In October 2005 she brought her first book called Singen? Everyone can! on the market. Since November 2006 she has been working as a vocal coach for the talent show MusicStar , which is produced by Swiss television (SF), and has been on the jury of Gölä since the 2009 season . This left the Musicstar jury due to the departure of a candidate he favored. Since August 2009 Artemis has been working as vocal coach for the RTL II TV show Baustelle Liebe .
She was married to Marco Minnemann and the couple has a son. Artemis Gounaki lives in Winterthur .
