As the Grand Prix of the Eifel , a race for the Formula 1 World Championship will take place on the Nürburgring in Nürburg in 2020 .

history

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , various races of the 2020 Formula 1 World Championship have been canceled or postponed. On July 24, 2020, the Formula 1 organizers published further races in the revised racing calendar. There was also a race on the Nürburgring, which will be the first Formula 1 race since 2013. Since the naming rights to the name Grand Prix Germany the Automobile Club of Germany belong to the race, however, the ADAC is organized, it must have a different name. In the past, the name Grand Prix of Europe or Grand Prix of Luxembourg was also used here used.
