The Grand Prix of Luxembourg is the name of a Formula 1 race that was held on the Nürburgring in 1997 and 1998 . The Grand Prix of Luxembourg was held on a race track in Findel from 1949 to 1952 . However, the races were not part of the automobile world championship.

The name was chosen because a German Grand Prix was held at the Hockenheimring and a European Grand Prix at the Circuito de Jerez in Jerez de la Frontera in Spain in the 1997 season .
