Guttenbrunn is a place and cadastral municipality of the municipality of Heidenreichstein in the northwestern Waldviertel.

Guttenbrunn borders in the north on the cadastral communities Haslau and Wolfsegg of the municipality Heidenreichstein. In the southwest of Guttenbrunn is the cadastral community Gebharts in the municipality Schrems , in the south to the cadastral community Eulenbach in the community Vitis and in the southeast to the cadastral community Edelprinz in the community Waidhofen an der Thaya-Land .

history

Guttenbrunn became its own cadastral parish in 1784 and was assigned to the Seyfrieds parish, which was rebuilt at the same time. In 1850 Guttenbrunn was constituted together with Wolfsegg to form the community of Wolfsegg and on January 1, 1976 it was incorporated into Heidenreichstein.
