The Hölltal nature reserve is located in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia . It extends east of Geiersthal , a district of the town of Neuhaus am Rennweg in the Sonneberg district . The Lichte flows west of the area , the B 281 runs east and south .
