Hübschenried is a district of the market in Dießen am Ammersee in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

geography

The Hübschenried state estate is located about two kilometers west of Riederau on a ridge.

history

Hübschenried is first mentioned in 1270 as Hubschenriede .

In the years 1671 and 1752 two properties are mentioned. Both were landable for the Wessobrunn monastery .

In 1878, both farms were sold to the Bavarian state, which initially set up a foal farm there. After the construction of new stables and an economic building, Hübschenried was incorporated into the Achselschwang stud .

Nowadays, Hübschenried is a subsidiary of the Bavarian teaching, testing and specialist center for dairy and cattle husbandry.
