Wolfgrub is a district of the market in Dießen am Ammersee in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

geography

The hamlet of Wolfgrub is located about two kilometers southwest of Dettenschwang in a pre-alpine moraine landscape .

history

Wolfgrub is first mentioned in 1126 as Wolfgruobe , the place name comes from the personal name Wolf.

The hamlet belonged to the Klosterhofmark Wessobrunn , in 1752 two properties are mentioned.

Attractions

The chapel of the Scourged Savior is located in the hamlet. It was built in 1618, renovated in 1780 and rededicated in 1915.
