HMS Sentinel (P256) was a submarine of the British Royal Navy .

history

The Sentinel ( English : Guardian ) was a boat of the fourth batch of the British S-Class ; this construction lot is also known as the subtle class .

It was launched on November 15, 1943 at Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in Greenock , West Scotland, launched on July 27, 1945, and entered service by the Royal Navy on December 28, 1945.

The Sentinel was sold for scrapping on February 28, 1962 and then demolished in Gillingham .
