The 2015/16 indoor season began on November 28, 2015. The double finals for women and men took place on February 6 and 7, 2016. The Mannheimer HC became champions .

In the quarter-final pairings, which change annually, this year North versus West and East versus South. The final round of the last four took place together with the men on 6/7. February in the Hansehalle in Lübeck .

Ascent

The champions of the regional leagues north, east, south and west are promoted to the Bundesliga. If this is a second team, the right of promotion goes to the next team.

In the 2015/16 indoor season, the teams from Hannover 78 (north), HG Nürnberg (south), TC Blau-Weiss Berlin (east) and Blau-Weiß Cologne (west) made it to the top division.
