Hanns Joosten

Hanns Joosten (born January 4, 1961 in Haarlem , Netherlands) is a Dutch photographer who lives and works in Berlin .

Life

He completed his studies in photography and audiovisual design at the Akademie voor Kunst en Vormgeving St. Joost , Breda, Netherlands. Afterwards he lived and worked in Berlin, Paris , Vallby and London . He has been working internationally as a freelance photographer and film maker since 1984.

Joosten staged and photographed a. a. Since 2000 he has been teaching and giving lectures and workshops etc. a. at the University of the Arts Berlin , Universidad Austral de Chile , Academie van Bouwkunst Amsterdam and the Fashion School of the City of Vienna in Hetzendorf Castle . He currently teaches at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art and the TU Dresden .
