Hanns Joosten

Hanns Joosten (born January 4, 1961 in Haarlem , Netherlands) is a Dutch photographer who lives and works in Berlin .

Life

He completed his studies in photography and audiovisual design at the Akademie voor Kunst en Vormgeving St. Joost , Breda, Netherlands. Afterwards he lived and worked in Berlin, Paris , Vallby and London . He has been working internationally as a freelance photographer and film maker since 1984.

Since 2000 he has been teaching and giving lectures and workshops etc. a. at the University of the Arts Berlin , Universidad Austral de Chile , Academie van Bouwkunst Amsterdam and the Fashion School of the City of Vienna in Hetzendorf Castle . He currently teaches at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art and the TU Dresden .
