Hans-Dieter Raspe

Hans-Dieter Raspe (born December 28, 1937 in Kühlungsborn ) is a former German functionary of the GDR block party LDPD . He was chairman of the LDPD district association in Rostock , deputy chairman of the entire party and a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

Life

Raspe, son of a farmer , graduated from high school in 1956 with the Abitur . He initially worked as a nurse at the Rostock Medical Polyclinic and studied medicine and physics at the Rostock University from 1957 to 1960 . In 1961 he became a member of the LDPD and editorial staff of the Norddeutsche Zeitung . From 1963 to 1966 he was a political employee of the LDPD district committee in Rostock. In 1966 he was elected full-time deputy chairman of the LDPD district association. In distance education at the College of Journalism in Leipzig in 1967, he acquired the technical college degree as a journalist . From 1969 to 1975 he completed a correspondence course at the Humboldt University in Berlin with a degree in law.

From 1964 to 1975 Raspe was a member of the Secretariat of the Rostock District Committee of the Society for German-Soviet Friendship and from 1966 to 1982 also a member of the Secretariat of the Rostock District Committee of the National Front .

Raspe was also a member of the Rostock District Assembly from 1971 to 1984 and, since 1981, chairman of the Permanent Recreation Committee of the District Assembly . In April 1982 he was elected member of the LDPD's central board at the 13th party congress and on May 6, 1982, in the presence of party chairman Manfred Gerlach, he was elected chairman of the LDPD district association in Rostock. On June 19, 1984, at the eighth meeting of the board, he was elected a member of the Political Affairs Committee and secretary of the board. On April 11, 1987, Raspe was elected deputy chairman of the LDPD at the 14th party congress.

From 1986 to March 1990 Raspe was a member of the People's Chamber, a member of the Constitutional and Legal Committee and a member of the Presidium of the People's Chamber. From December 1989 to March 1990 he was a representative of the LDPD at the central round table . From March to August 1990 he belonged to the Bund Free Democrats , then to the FDP. From April to October 1990 Raspe was together with Armin Behrendt a managing board member of the Society for Liberal Politics. V. in Berlin . He was then taken over by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and was a development policy advisor to the Friedrich Naumann Foundation in Guatemala in 1991/92 . He then worked as a consultant in Jakarta until 2002 . In 2002 he resigned from the FDP.
