Hans Emons (born April 2, 1907 in Bonn , † July 31, 1970 in Karlsruhe ) was a German actor .

Life

Hans Emons was born on April 2, 1907 in Bonn. After attending a secondary school, he took acting lessons in Cologne and then got his first engagement at the age of twenty in Bonn. Now jobs at various theaters all over Germany followed. After the Second World War, he worked at the Dresden State Theater until 1948, before moving to Berlin. Here he played u. A. in the House of Culture of the Soviet Union , Theater am Kurfürstendamm and at the Volksbühne . At DEFA , too , he was given more and more tasks, in 1948/1949 alone he shot six feature films here. In addition to his work in the GDR, he also worked in the Federal Republic for film and television. He was particularly active in dubbing American western films. From 1960 onwards, Hans Emons devoted himself increasingly to theater work. After a stopover in Lübeck, he worked at the Badisches Staatstheater in Karlsruhe from 1962 until his death .
