Hans Kaulich

Hans Kaulich (around 1895 - after 1955) was an Austrian football official and national captain .

Hans Kaulich played as an active footballer before the First World War for the then second-class Vienna Cricket and Football Club and worked as a referee until 1926. Between 1927 and 1931 he was a board member of the Vienna Football Association and from 1931 to 1933 and 1946 and 1948 board member of the ÖFB . Professionally, the Commercial Council worked as a leather dealer during this time.

From 1951 Hans Kaulich was chairman of the referee committee of the State League, before the 59-year-old was appointed the new federal captain by the extended federal board of the ÖFB on December 10, 1954 . As early as March 29, 1955, after only one international match, he resigned for health reasons, as Josef Molzer had coached the national team during his tenure .
