Josef Argauer

Josef "Pepi" Argauer (born November 15, 1910 in Vienna ; † October 10, 2004 there ) was co- team manager of the Austrian national soccer team from April 21, 1956 to August 9, 1958.

He was connected to the football all his life, namely as a professional player , sports journalist , official and coach . He is also considered to be the " inventor " of the traditional Viennese city hall tournament .

In 1978 he received the Silver Medal for Services to the Republic of Austria .
