Hans Partsch (born January 28, 1954 ) is a former German wrestler .

Career

Hans Partsch grew up in the Mannheim district of Sandhofen and started wrestling there as a teenager at the oak strength sports club . Hans Partsch, who had learned the trade of a plumber, achieved his first major successes on a national level in 1971. In that year he became German youth champion in the class up to 40 kg body weight, both in the free style and in the Greco-Roman style .

In 1973, Hans Partsch was also the first German champion in the senior class in paper weight in the free style, the style in which he now exclusively wrestled. This title was followed by seven further championship successes between 1977 and 1984. This winning streak was only interrupted in 1979 by Günter Laier from Reilingen . Hans Partsch took 2nd place this year. From 1974 Hans Partsch started until the end of his wrestling career for the ASV Bauknecht Schorndorf (and not like some publications spread for the KSV Aalen!).

In 1974, Hans Partsch had his first successes on the international wrestling mat. This year he finished 4th at the European Junior Championships in Haparanda in the bantamweight division. In the seniors he started in many international championships as early as 1973. In these championships, however, he was usually only able to place in the midfield. Exceptions were the 1981 World Championships in Skoplje , where he took an excellent 5th place in bantamweight with four wins over strong opponents, and the 1982 European Championships in Varna , where he came in an even better 4th place.

Hans Partsch remained loyal to wrestling even after his wrestling career ended in 1984. From 1985 to 1993 he coached the wrestlers of TSG Nattheim and then until September 2007 that of SV Germania Fachsenfeld .
