Harald Burmeister

Harald Burmeister (* 1966 in Eckernförde ) is a German actor and musician .

Life

Harald Burmeister grew up in his hometown. After graduating from high school and doing community service, he first studied the cello , until in 1986 he won first prize in a competition for young actors organized by Gerald Uhlig and received the leading role as Bavarian King Ludwig II in the piece Das Herzblut des Chamäleon . Burmeister took private acting lessons from Peter Danzeisen and Gerda Katharina Kramer , who were employed at the Hamburg Thalia Theater at the time , and still plays on a number of Hamburg theaters today. In addition to the Thalia Theater and its then additional venue, the TiK - Theater in the Kunsthalle, these included Kampnagel , the Hamburg State Opera , the St. Pauli Theater , the Zeisehallen , the Scharlatan Theater and the Monsun Theater .

Since the early 1990s, Burmeister has also been in front of the camera regularly, mostly as a supporting actor or in guest roles in various series. He has also made a name for himself with readings, both as a reciter and as a musical accompanist on the instrument he has learned. After two years of instruction at the Hamburg Deaf Association, Burmeister has also mastered sign language .
