Harry Groener
Harry Groener (born September 10, 1951 in Augsburg ) is an American film actor . He was best known in the role of Richard Wilkins III , the main demonic opponent in the third season of Buffy - The Vampire Slayer .
Life
The son of a US soldier and a German woman was born in Germany during the occupation . Harry grew up bilingual as a result. In 1953, when Groener was just two years old, the family moved to San Francisco , where Groener later trained in municipal ballet . He then studied at the School of Drama of the University of Washington , where he also earned a degree.
He then played both in classical theater plays and in various musical productions . For his accomplishments in Oklahoma! ( Will Parler , 1980), Cats ( Munkustrap , the leader of the Jellicles, 1983) and Crazy for You (1992) he was each nominated for a Tony Award .
Today Harry Groener is married to the film actress Dawn Didawick ; the two have no children.
