Hasan Vezir (born September 7, 1962 in Rize ) is a former Turkish football player and today's coach.

Club career

Hasan Vezir started his career in his home country at Rizespor . In the 1981/82 season he made his debut in the 1st team. Before the start of the 1983/84 season , Vezir moved to the first division Trabzonspor . In his first season at Trabzonspor, the striker won the Turkish Football Championship and the Turkish Cup for the first time . In the first division he came to 21 games and scored two goals. He played a total of four seasons for Trabzonspor and returned to Rizespor in the summer of 1987.

Vezir scored 12 goals of the season for Rizespor in the 1987/88 season and had a large share in Rizespor's relegation. In the following season, the striker made four goals in the first six games. Fenerbahçe Istanbul coach Todor Veselinović wanted to see the striker on his side, and so it happened. Vezir moved to the traditional club in October 1988 and in return Rizespor received the players: Orhan Kapucu and Önder Çakar . Vezir became Turkish champions for the second time in his career at the end of the season. He scored 15th goals of the season and was the team's third top scorer after Aykut Kocaman and Rıdvan Dilmen .

On May 3, 1989, the second leg between Fenerbahçe and city rivals Galatasaray Istanbul was played in the cup quarter-finals . Galatasaray took the lead with three goals from Tanju Çolak . Aykut Kocaman scored Fenerbahçe's first goal of the game two minutes after the restart. Hasan Vezir did a hat trick in this game . The game ended 4-3 for Fenerbahçe and they advanced to the semi-finals. Before the end of the 1988/89 season, Vezir could not agree with Fenerbahçe on a contract extension. He accepted Galatasaray's offer and was subsequently kidnapped non-violently by two Galatasaray board members. As a result, Vezir missed the second leg of the cup final against Beşiktaş Istanbul .

At Galatasaray Istanbul, Vezir won the Turkish Cup for a second time. After Galatasaray, engagements at: Bakırköyspor , Adanaspor , Kardemir Karabükspor , Kartalspor and Üsküdar Anadolu 1908 SK followed . In 1999 Hasan Vezir ended his career.
